Friends Reconnect at the 2nd Engineering Alumni Day at UAEU

Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Ali Rashed Al Noaimi, Vice Chancellor of the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), the College of Engineering (COE) held its 2nd Engineering Alumni Day at the University campus in Al Ain. Prof. Robert Whelan, Deputy Provost at UAEU, opened the ceremony and spoke about how important it is for the University to keep connections with all its partners, especially the Alumni. more

Think Green Week

Green Week event, with a theme of “THINK GREEN” is organized by Architectural engineering Students Society (male and female sections). The main aim is to increase the students’ awareness toward saving the environment and applying green strategies in their daily life. The event covers a Green Exhibition, student competitions, seminars, workshops, and guided field trips. Experts on green buildings and environmental studies will be presenting lectures, and conducting workshops. Participants from other GCC Universities will also take part in this event. more

Walk Through Opportunities

The college of Engineering offers 7 undergraduate programs at the B.Sc. level, namely the B.Sc. in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Petroleum Engineering. more

The 4th Engineering Student Renewable Energy Competition at UAEU

The College of Engineering in United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) organized the 4th Engineering Student Renewable Energy Competition, with the participation of 54 teams from 11 universities from inside and outside the country including Ajman University for Science & Technology, American University in Dubai, BITS Pilani in Dubai, Khalifa University, The Petroleum Institute, Manibal University in Dubai, Arabian Gulf University in Bahrain, Jubail Industrial College in Saudi Arabia, Rochester Institute of Technology in Dubai, University of Sharjah and United Arab Emirates University. more

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed visits UAEU stand at IDEX

H.E. Dr. Ali Rashid Al Noaimi, Vice Chancellor of United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) commended the visit and support of H.H. Lieutenant General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to the University stand at the International Defence Exhibition & Conference (IDEX). Dr. Al Noaimi expressed the appreciation of UAEU's students and staff for this visit and the infinite support for student projects. more

3rd Engineering Students Renewable Energy Competition 2013 (ESREC’2013)

It is our distinct pleasure to welcome you all to the 3rd Engineering Students Renewable Energy Competition 2012 (ESREC’2012). This event is becoming the focal point of students enrolled in engineering, science and technology programs in universities and colleges across the UAE. The key objectives of holding this student day are: promote renewable energy concepts through students’ projects, provide experience in applying engineering concepts for renewable energy, exchanging experiences between engineering students, and enhance engineering students’ understanding of the impact of renewable energy on our society. more
